To impart training to the local entrepreneurs and SGHs, a paper bag making unit under the initiative of Green Land Society Kiphire was opened in Kiphire on July 5.
The paper bag making unit was inaugurated by SDO (C) Kiphire, Nyempo Wallim. In her speech, the SDO said Kiphire was privileged to be part of aspirational district and has many things to execute. This was stated in a press release issued by the society press secretary, Temong Y Tikhir. KTCCI secretary Tsalichem, also spoke in the programme by encouraging local entrepreneurs to avail paper bags from within the town.
Members from SHGs, daily bazaar union, local shops union attended the programme. Sample bags were distributed among the attendees.
