Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection (DLM&CP) and District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), Phek, in collaboration with Phek Town Youth Society (PTYS), Phek Town G.Bs and Phek Town Colony Chairman’s Forum (PTCCF) organised a consumer awareness programme at PTC Hall, Phek on July 24. The programme was held under the theme “Your Rights, Your Responsibilities”.
A press release from DLM&CP, stated that NJS, District Session Judge, Mezivolu T. Therieh, who graced the programme as the guest speaker, highlighted in detail about the rights and responsibilities of consumers with reference to Consumer Protection Act 1986.
The programme was chaired by president, PTYS, Neizote Venuh and Alo Nuh invoking God’s blessing.
