Farewell programmes for outgoing officers

Kiphire district administration organised farewell programme in respect of outgoing deputy commissioner Kiphire, M. Shayung Phom on September 4 at DC office conference hall Kiphire. 

According to DIPR report, outgoing DC, M. Shayung Phom said with the cooperation of the three tribal bodies he was able to bring some achievements. He encouraged the gathering to give their full support and cooperation to incoming DC for further development in the district. He also encouraged the three tribal bodies to unite and cooperate more in order to bring development in the district.
On behalf of the district officers, ADC Kiphire Hq. Reny Wilfred, ADC Seyochung, Japheth Woch, ADC Pungro, Zakabo V. Rotokha, Helen Jamir, principal Zisaji Presidency College Kiphire and additional SP Kiphire, Tshurhosie Kajiri gave farewell speeches. 
The officers in their speech expressed that outgoing DC, M. Shayung Phom was a good and capable officer and under his leadership Kiphire district has created a good team with tribal hohos, students bodies, NGOs which may not be known by many people individually. Tribal body under Kiphire like United Sangtam Likhum Pumji (USLP) Eastern Sumi Hoho (ESH) and Yimchunger Tribal Council (YTC) present expressed their satisfaction for keeping good law and order situation in the Kiphire district during the stay of outgoing DC, M. Shayung Phom. Programme was presided by Sangpangchang EAC and invocation prayer by Nyampo Wallim SDO (C) HQ.
Kohima: District education office (DEO), Kohima bade farewell to retiring DEO, Kohima Y. Mary Zhimomi in a function held at conference hall of DEO office, Kohima on August 30. 
A press release from DEO Kohima stated that, speaking at the farewell in her honour, Y. Mary Zhimomi said that initially she was apprehensive when she joined the establishment. However, she was warmly welcomed by everyone and she learned how to listen, to take advice and suggestion which she would treasure.
She encouraged the staff to be sincere, committed, regular and develop work habit and be available in the work place where they are appointed, and avoid doing office works from elsewhere depending entirely on WhatsApp or internet. She urged all the staff to extend their full cooperation to the incoming officer.  She expressed gratitude to God for the fulfilment of her career and also thanked all the staff. Y. Mary Zhimomi joined in the rank of joint director, School Education Department and took over the charge as DEO, Kohima in the month of October 2018. She completed 35 years of active service and relieved on superannuation from August 31. 
Speeches on behalf of the staff were delivered by senior HA,  Rüükhono Rafela; supervisor (AE) Hillo Khing and ADC(SSA) Thongsenlo Kath. Other officers who spoke included senior SDEO, Kohima Dojü Khate; deputy director Chipeni Merry; assistant director, Kepelhouto Chüsi; headmistress Kevitsiano Zao. Livili Zhimomi, daughter of Y. Mary Zhimomi on behalf of the family shared a word of gratitude and special song presented by Kenei Shuorhie. Programme was chaired by Neivikhono.
