Nagaland Governor, RN Ravi has extended Ahuna greetings to Sümi community and those celebrating the festival. In his message, Ravi urged Sümi men, women, elders and youth to continue to spread the message of peace, love and unity within the Naga society and neighbouring States. As Nagas await a dawn of new beginning, governor said Sümis must endeavour to harvest lasting peace in Nagaland and beyond. “For an enduring peace, it is imperative for Naga people to spread the message of harmony and oneness towards which the Sumis must play a pivotal role,” he said. Further, Ravi prayed that Ahuna festival foster the spirit of oneness amongst all the communities in Nagaland and beyond.
