T-Series Stage Works Academy to focus on North Eastern states

T-Series, India’s largest music label and production house has forayed itself into the educational wing with T-Series Stage Works Academy (TSA) in grooming young talents in the field of performing arts and post production techniques related to filmmaking. 

Addressing the media at a press conference held here at Hotel Saramati on Thursday, PRO TSA, Piyush Sharma informed that TSA would be bringing new era of the students of North East India in the arena of performing arts.

He said that TSA for the whole North Eastern states was located in Guwahati, offering courses such as singing, acting, dance, modelling, instrumental music, filmmaking, cinematography, sound design, colour correction VFX and more. 

Further gratifying the demand especially by students from North Eastern states in the field of cinematography, filmmaking, and various other fields, Sharma added that TSA is providing trainings of international standards with best technology and experts from the industry. 

CEO TSA, Subhadip Raha informed that special fee structure was also allotted for NE students, claiming that TSA’s fee structure was 75% lesser than those academy, national or international, offering the same course. TSA also provides places guidance and assistance for its students where many of its students have reportedly debuted by T-Series itself. 

Raha further informed that fee structures for the courses offered ranged between 30,000 to 2.5 lakhs, depending on the courses taken. 

State coordinator TSA, Clement Imsong stated that Nagas and North Easterners in general have lots of talents and when trained and utilised in the right way, they will get globally exposed, being optimistic that TSA would bridge the gap between students’ talent and global exposure. 

It was also learnt that TSA would be organising talent hunts at the most interior parts of the states, where talented candidates would be handpicked and offered to study at TSA with scholarships. 

Raha further claimed that North East talent would dominate Indian industry within a span of few years, provided, if the training goes well and students are interested.
