Meanwhile, DNSU has claimed that some private agencies were approaching some schools and colleges to collect the names and money from students on the pretext of filling up scholarships forms. In this regard, the union has reminded that the ministry of minority affairs was yet to give directives to fill up the scholarship forms.
DNSU stated that there were some technical issues in the past related to agencies and scholarship which had created havoc between the students and agencies.
The union has, therefore, warned those responsible agencies to take proper precautionary measures before taking up the task. It also directed those erring agencies to approach DNSU office and “sign the undertaking”.
