Expressing concern at the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic surging everyday with positive cases, the Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) said that extra care was required for intra-district travels by the public and urged district administration to strictly enforce and implement as per the directive issued by chief secretary.
A press release by CPO president Mikha Kenye and publicity and information secretary, Vipani Krome also noted the absence of some HoDs/officers who remain out of station and come only to attend some urgent work. CPO stated that it was expected of the officers to discharge their duties with sincerity instead of inviting public wrath at this crucial time.
While appreciating the Thuvopisumi village School Management Board for issuing show cause notice to the absentee teachers, the CPO also appealed to all the VECs and SMBs under its jurisdictions to take strict actions against the absentees.
CPO also lauded the frontline workers, doctors and nurses under whose care and love, two elderly couple had recovered from Coronavirus.
