Jalukie Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (North) provided assistance to local populace at Azailong in Tening sub-division.
Jalukie Battalion assisted civil administration by providing them with fresh water supply and essential commodities to support inmates who are quarantined at Tening. In view of the incessant rains, the battalion also assisted villagers with provision of umbrellas. Meanwhile, the battalion in collaboration with Gaili Namdi village stretched out to help rank and file at COB Heningkunglwa. Assam Rifles facilitated Gaili Namdi village with basic necessities, to create awareness on personal hygiene amid COVID-19.
