Patton campaigns for BJP candidate in Kiphire

Deputy chief minister and BJP Legislature Party (BLP) leader, Yanthungo Patton said that PDA government has nominated Lirimong Sangtam as consensus BJP candidate for the forthcoming by-election in order to enable him to carry the legacy of late Torechu for the people of this A/C in particular. 

A press release by deputy CMO media cell stated that, Y. Patton during a public meeting on October 26 at Pungro local ground said that, Liromong was young, capable and qualified upcoming leader amongst the Naga youngsters. 
Patton further reminded the gathering that there will be maximum rumours to confuse the people but he cautioned people not to be carried away by such election propagandas. He urged them to rather stand firm for the benefit of opportunities and development for the area of the 60 A/C.
Highlighting on the ongoing development, Patton said that Kiphire being an aspirational district was fortunate to have been selected as an extension of the only Nagaland Tools and Training Centre, Dimapur through the initiative of advisor of Industries and commerce & ITI, Imnatiba which has already been approved and waiting for implementation. 
Further, through the initiative of the minister of PHED, Jacob Zhimomi under Jal Jevaan Mission has already started the project for reaching out to every functional household to avail safe drinking water in Pungro area which will be covered by the year 2020-2021, he added.
Patton further urged upon every electorate of 60 Pungro-Kiphire constituency to wisely cast their decisive votes and avail the given opportunities and for development. Others who spoke at the meeting included ministers P. Paiwang Konyak, Jacob Zhimomi, advisors L. Khumo, Khehovi, Imnatiba, BJP ticket aspirant, ex-candidates and PDA consensus BJP candidate Lirimong Sangtam.
