GPRN/NSCN has expressed grief over the untimely demise of ‘sgt. maj.’ Anito Sumi who passed away on March 8, 2021.
In a condolence message, GPRN/NSCN through its MIP stated that late ‘sgt. maj.’ Anito Sumi, Sumi region enrolled in the Naga army on April 4, 2011 and served for 10 years till his demise.
It stated that he was known not only for his dedication but was also a compassionate and noble young man who believed in the cause and aspiration of a Naga nation.
It also stated that his service and legacy for the cause of Naga nation would be cherished and recorded in the pages of the Naga history.
GPRN/NSCN further conveyed its condolence to the bereaved family members and prayed for the departed soul to rest in peace.
