
Monthly District Planning and Development Board (DPDB) meeting of Dimapur district, which was held in the conference hall of DC Dimapur on April 5discussed various issues besides reviewing minutes of last DPDB meeting.
According to DIPR report, advisor sericulture, excise and minority affairs, Zhaleo Rio, who is also the chairman of Dimapur DPDB, while welcoming the new members of DPDB Dimapur, advised them to give the best delivery system to the public.
Zhaleo reminded the newly posted officers that they were fortunate to be posted in Dimapur and impressed upon them to give their best and coordinate with the district administration, police and also the elected members of district so together they could work for the welfare and uplift of the general public.
The advisor dubbed DPDB meeting as a common platform for sharing views and opinions for the betterment of the district. Zhaleo urged the heads of departments under Dimapur district for more participation. “Feel free and share the activities, achievements and even failures of your department during DPDB meeting,” he said.
Zhaleo also requested the legislators of Dimapur district to attend DPDB meetings and said, “let us continue to be torch bearers to the officers.”
At the meeting, minutes of last DPDB meeting was reviewed and other agendas of the meeting included recommendations for registration of societies, change of nomenclature of Concern Kids Montessori school to concern kids School 4th mile.
The house approved to the higher authority with regard to opening of news schools namely, Rising Montessori School Toulazouma Village Dimapur, Sunrise Preschool 7th Mile Chumukedima, upgradation of Riverine school Thilixu village Dimapur and Quest Fulfill School Model colony Purana bazaar Dimapur. Shifting of Ebenezer High School Dhansiripar to Selouphe village and Logos School from Sovima F Khel to Kuda Nagarjan B Khel was also deliberated and approved by the board to the higher authority.
Aghunaka has been selected as the aspirational block under Dimapur district and for which DC Dimapur informed that a committee would be constituted at the earliest and notifications would be issued. DC Dimapur thanked advisors Zhaleo Rio and Tovihoto and Moatoshi, MLA, and all the officers for attending the DPDB meeting.
