Phek Town Public Forum (PTPF) has lauded the DEF Phek for their the timely intervention and prompt action “in arresting the kidnappers Vevolhu Khusoh and Mutuku Vero who kidnapped an employee of Madhucon project Ltd” on April 26 “for ransom” at Phek town.
In a press release, PTPF president Khosapa Venuh and general secretary Seyieveto Lohe stated that kidnapping for ransom was a culture which was alien to the Naga way of life and had no place in the civilized society.
The forum while condemning “such shameful act” requested the law enforcing agencies to punish the perpetrators.
Further, PTPF extended its full support in the fight to curb anti social elements and also extended its cooperation and service to the authorities in the combat against COVID-19 pandemic.
