Rio condoles Dr. Taka’s demise

Nagaland chief minister, Neiphiu Rio has condoled the demise of Dr. Taka, who passed away on May 8 at a ripe age of 91 years. In a condolence message, Rio said late Dr. Taka served the government of Nagaland as a dedicated and sincere doctor and retired as the director of Health and Family Welfare department. He said late Dr. Taka was among the pioneers who put their efforts in establishing the medical department in Nagaland. Looking at Dr. Taka’s life journey, Rio said it was evident that he was not only an efficient doctor but also someone who worked selflessly for the welfare of the people, especially for those in need, for which all would dearly remember him. In his demise, Rio said the state has lost a father figure and a guardian and that his absence would be difficult to be replaced. However, Rio added that Dr. Taka’s life should be celebrated for the benevolent deeds he had done for the society. Rio along with his family has conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and prayed that the Almighty grant them strength and courage to bear the irreplaceable loss, and for the departed soul to rest in enteral peace.
