Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland state unit held its coordination & consultative meeting with state BJP legislators, state office bearers, state morcha presidents, district presidents, state council members and senior party leaders at capital convention centre, Kohima.
In a press release, state BJP media cell informed that during the meeting resolved to reaffirm the resolution serial no. 4 of the state executive meeting held on April 17, 2021 at IMC Hall Dimapur where it resolved to support for “an early, inclusive and honorable settlement to the decades old Naga political issue”.
While appreciating the Naga political groups engaged in the peace talks, the Nagaland state BJP unit appealed to the government of India and the negotiating parties “to expedite the process of finalisation, so as to attain lasting peace in Nagaland” which it said would positively facilitate all round development and economic upliftment of the state in the future.
The house also resolved to acknowledge and congratulate the government of India under the leadership of prime minister Narendra Modi for accomplishment of 100 crore vaccination.
