Zunheboto district review meeting on Malaria was held at the chief medical officer’s office on October 29.
In a press release, district media officer informed that SPO (NVBDCP), Dr. Neisakho Kire encouraged participants to take initiative in the drive to eliminate malaria and declare Zunheboto as malaria free district.
He said that the district had not recorded any case for past two years but urged staff to be prepared and track history of those imported and indigenous cases.
Dr. Neisakho said in order for slide collection performance to be improved, mass slide collection should be conducted periodically.
DVBO, Dr. Hogukha chaired the meeting while AMO Hekuto Zhimo, delivered introductory speech and DVBC, Mudosayi proposed vote of thanks.
