Kohima Ongpangkong Kaketshir Telongjem (Kohima Ongpangkong Students Union) celebrated its silver jubilee on the theme “Nüken Rajemshidi” on Friday with minister for rural development, Metsubo Jamir as special guest.
While speaking at the programme, Metsubo spoke on the importance of education and urged the students to have a plan of action and not simple graduate.
Kohima Ao Baptist Arogo (KABA) associate pastor, Imna Zulu while exhorting the students also emphasised on having a vision to reach their goal in life and to be a part of the change in the society.
He urged them to live a Christ-centred life.
During the programme, the 14 units of the 14 villages under Ongpangkong range placed their flags of representation and presented dance along with various chants.
