NPF Mon division meets Zeliang, Yollow

Naga People’s Front (NPF) Mon division led by its president S Chingyem Konyak and general secretary (admn) HA Hongnao Konyak on Friday met newly elected chairman of United Democratic Alliance (UDA) and former state chief minister, TR Zeliang and newly inducted minister for environment, forest, wildlife and disaster management, YM Yollow Konyak.
In a press release, NPF Mon division said the party members greeted the two leaders and had prayer fellowships in their respective residents at Dimapur.
They also conveyed party’s happiness on their new assignments in United Democratic Alliance government.
Naga People’s Front, Mon informed that during the meeting, the party expressed confidence on their leadership and urged upon them to take the responsibilities forward to strengthen the UDA government.
ZSUN, 42-Wakching A/C fete
Zeliang Students’ Union, Nagaland (ZSUN) has welcomed the induction of TR Zeliang as United Democratic Alliance chairman.
In a press release, ZSUN through its media cell said that it was “a proud moment for all the people of Peren district” and prayed that the Almighty would continue to shower His blessing and knowledge.
The union also acknowledged chief minister Neiphiu Rio and his colleagues for “reposing faith on T.R. Zeliang by giving him coveted chair”.
Meanwhile, 42 Wakching assembly constituency through its president Woklang Konyak and general secretary Chemwang Konyak welcomed the induction of YM Yollow Konyak as minister in the state cabinet.
They said that the achievement was an inspiration for the community and further extended its support.
