The launching programme and inauguration of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) across jails of Nagaland was graced by Director General of Prisons, Home Guards (HG), Civil Defense (CD) and State Disaster Response force (SDRF), Renchamo P. Kikon, Thursday at District Jail, Kohima.
A press release by office of DG Prisons informed that the function was also attended by I.G. Prisons, Imtiangshi Ao; Sr. R.O (Planning), C. Lwngnyei Konyak; Superintendent of Jail, District Jail, Kohima, K. Hamtok Phom; legal officer, Rayile Poireng; registrar, Duvil Rhetso, among other officers and staffs with inmates of District Jail, Kohima. As part of the programme, a lecture on healthy life-style for prisoners mental, physical and social well-being was also organised by the Rajyoga Education and Research Foundation Organization of Brahma Kumaris.
