Peren to face KISCE Kohima at 1st Open Women Football League final

Peren District Women FC will lock horn with Khelo India State Centre of Excellence (KISCE), Kohima in the final match of the ongoing 1st Nagaland Open Women Football League at IG Stadium, Kohima on Saturday at 5:30 pm.
Playing the first match on Friday, Peren District Women FC (PDWFC) won the match against Hilly Girls FC 4-1, while in the second match, Football Association Phek District (FAPD) and Northern Angami Youth & Sports Association-C match ended in a goal less draw.
The first two goals for PDWFC were scored by jersey no 11, Abinuo, in the 4th and 14th minutes who went on to score another goal in the 63rd minute earning herself a hat-trick.
The third goal for the team was scored by jersey no 18, Ruth in the 43rd minute.
While the lone goal for Hilly Girls was scored by jersey no 9 Thenozolu, in the 16th minute of the game.
The second match of the day between FAPD and NAYSA-C ended in a goalless draw.
