VISIT NETAJI MEMORIAL CONSTRUCTION SITE AND HELIPAD AT RUZAZHO

Economic Advisory Council (EAC) to Prime Minister (PM) Office member Sanjeev Sanyal and director EAC-PM, Devi Prasad Mishra trekked down to Tüsürü river at Ruzhazo Village on Sunday morning.


A press release from Department of Home, Hupasayi Tetseo informed that with much difficulties and inconveniences, the EAC-PM members along with Dr. Er. Vekho Swuro, state protocol officer, Hupasayi Tetseo along with village elders and entourage trekked down to the river, hosted by Christian Youth Endeavour (CYE) Ruzhazo Baptist Church.


Sharing the practical experience of trekking day, Sanyal and Mishra revealed that this was the first of its kind having practical experience was indeed a difficult task yet a memorable and wonderful moment.


Visiting the Subhas Chandra Bose and Indian National Army (INA) Memorial Parking construction site at Ruzhazo, Sanjeev Sanyal also laid down the foundation stone of the project. Also physically inspecting the entire area of the proposed site, Sanyal expressed hope that special fund allocation towards the construction by the Ministry Art & Culture would prove worthy to the expectation of the people of Nagaland.


The EAC-PM members along with dignitaries also visited the recently constructed Helipad at Ruzhazo by the Inspector General of Assam Rifles North (IGAR-N) which is operational now.
The team of EAC-PM proceeded to Kohima for night halt and is scheduled to meet Government departments, agencies and other important dignitaries and also visit Kisama, Naga Heritage Village.


On Saturday, EAC-PM members also visited Phek district headquarters and interacted with the entrepreneurs at the conference hall of DPDB, Phek.
The two dignitaries accompanied by Dr. Er. Vekho Swuro, visited Subhas Hut at Military Camp Chakhabama while on the way to Phek and interacted with the military officers.


The team also visited Lozaphuhu Village where a short reception ceremony was organized and a memorandum was also submitted to Sanjeev Sanyal. Sanyal assured to study the matter in length and to do the favour at his best capacity.


Meanwhile, interacting with the entrepreneurs at DPDB hall Phek Town, Sanyal apprised young people to take up Eco-Tourism project to move forward with the changing of times in the present society.


Sharing the hurdles and obstacles faced by the young and qualified entrepreneurs in terms of good transportation, cold storage, power problems, Sanyal assured to look into the matter by coordinating with the state Government and nodal ministry at the centre.


On reaching the Ruzhazo village, the first administered village of Indian National Army (INA), a grand reception was organized by the Ruzhazo Village Council with cultural spotlights.
