District touring programme of state BJP president, Benjamin Yepthomi and team of state office bearers which commenced on October 28 in Mon culminated on November 17 with a reception organised by BJP Dimapur District at Hotel Saramati, Dimapur.
A press release by media officer to BJP Nagaland president stated that the tour was the first time in the history of BJP Nagaland that a state president extensively toured all the districts to reach out to the people of the state. During the tour, the president and team held series of intensive meetings with the district office bearers, mandals, morchas and booth level officials.
In his address at the culmination programme, Yepthomi said the “extensive district touring” was initiated to know and identify the ground realities, and to understand the grievances of all the 16 Districts, 60 mandals and booth levels while reaching out to the people at the grassroot level.
He also called upon all the “karyakartas” to extend full cooperation to the respective district presidents so as to work cohesively for the positive growth and progress of the party.
