SP Peren, Manish Bhartiya flagging off the marathon at Jalukie. Dimapur: Minitoe Foundation, in collaboration with DEF Peren and district administration Jalukie, organized a marathon-cum-walkathon program, under the theme “Run against drugs, Run for life.”
Superintendent of Police, Peren, Manish Bhartiya graced the event as the special guest. The program aimed at raising awareness about the impact of drug abuse on individuals and society while the director of Minitoe Foundation highlighted the vision of a drug-free Jalukie, and resource persons from Silas Rehab Centre dispelled myths about rehab centers.
ADC Jalukie, T L Kiusumong Tikhir discussed legal aspects, and Rev. Dr. Among addressed the spiritual aspect of addiction.
The event concluded with a health camp and sponsorship of 5 victims for rehab treatment.
