A “jubilee walk” to Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Diphupar ‘B’ marked the silver jubilee celebration of Sümi Totimi Loka (STL) Diphupar ‘B’, Sunday. The jubilee celebrated under the theme, “Akikhi Akighiche (Morality Excellence)” commenced with the unveiling of the silver jubilee monolith at Sumi Community Hall, Diphupar ‘B’ by the first president of STL Diphupar ‘B’, Kivili K. Chishi.
Speaker of the programme, former president of Western Sümi Totimi Hoho (WSTH), Ahimsa Zhimo, underscored the importance of self-improvement and inner growth. She encouraged the congregation to focus on personal development and strengthen their relation with God rather than competing or comparing with others.
“By cultivating a principled life, one can strive for excellence not in comparison to others, but as a reflection of one’s own growth and values,” said Zhimo.
The speaker also encouraged the congregation to prioritize their own journey of renewal and repair, embracing their unique qualities and aspiring towards excellence.
During the programme, the jubilee souvenir was released by STL Diphupar ‘B’ former president, Husheli S. Zhimo; a prayer was said by Sumi Baptist Church Diphupar ‘B’ associate pastor Tsutokha Swu; greeting was delivered by Highway Area Sümi Totimi Loka (HASTL) president, Hekatoli Zhimomi and jubilee blessings prayer was said Sümi Baptist Convention, director, Rev. Dr. Khehovi Shohe.
