Reacting to a new report, “Tense Stand-off in Dimapur: NSCN (IM) cadres and Assam Rifles Face off Near Patkai College”, NSCN (I-M) clarified that the news was “recklessly” published by “out of context media person Dil Bar Irshad”.
MIP of NSCN (I-M), said that the incident happened more than one decade ago and “for no reason this none-existing stand-off was made to go viral”. MIP therefore said it was “highly unethical for media persons to sensationalize news report that doesn’t exist at all” and therefore NSCN “holds no responsibility for such baseless news-viral”.
