During a routine checked, the MVCP unit of the Excise Narcotic Cell intercepted a scooty (2wheeler) at Patkai Bridge Highway area, Chumoukedima on June 5, and recovered 2100 capsules of Spasmo Proxyvon (Sampex+brand) from two individuals, Kangzangpeu and Heibamzeung, from Ngwalwa Village, Peren.
The operation was led by AIE Atilo Kent. Upon inspecting the storage cavity, the team discovered the drugs. Subsequently the individuals were arrested and charged under the relevant sections of NDPS Act, 1985.
