Niuland celebrated the Kissan Mela 2024 on June 7, organized by ATMA Niuland, showcasing dynamic gathering of local farmers and agricultural experts. A press release by ATMA Niuland, stated that the mela was inaugurated by project director & DAO, Neiku.
The event highlighted importance of modern agricultural practices and also featured technical session by KVK Dimapur on innovative farming techniques, followed by an engaging discussion with farmers. Farmers brought variety of agricultural produce for sale, while the Fishery department facilitated a fingerling distribution to promote sustainable fish farming, and essential summer seeds and agricultural kits were distributed to support the upcoming planting season.
