The Seiyhama 1st Presidential Trophy 2024 organised by NAYSA-D was held at Seiyhama Local Ground, Kohima on Saturday. 12 villages competed in football (Men) and volleyball (Women) for the trophy.
Roko Angami, president of Nagaland Football Coaches Association and former international player, who graced the event, praised NAYSA-D and Neikeso Zumu for promoting sports, unity, and peace through the tournament.
Mentioning that sports has become a profession, Roko encouraged the sports to take it seriously with dedication. The event was chaired by NAYSA-D assistant general secretary Keduokhrielie Metha, welcome address by Seiyhama village council chairman Lhoulalie Zumu. Vote of thanks was proposed by NAYSA-D treasurer Ketouneizo Sanchu.
