Sedekevi Pele (No.17) of Kohima village organised a penalty shoot-out in aid of its Silver Jubilee 2025 at D.Khel Ground, Kohima on June 8. Gracing the tournament as special guest, president of Kohima District Football Association Mhasimhalie Mathew Yhome, appealed to the players to maintain good health and diet by avoiding alcohol and tobacco.
He also asked the players to respect each other while take part in tournament and encouraged them to take sports seriously. A total of 21 team are participating in the tournament. 21 teams are participating the tournament.
Speaking on Sedekevi Peli(No.17), Menuosetuo Yiese, president of Sedekevi Peli said that Peli was established in 2000, with only 13 members, who would go to field and do manual works to keep Peli alive.
He said by God’s grace, the Peli has now 55 members. Earlier, Khedi Baptist Church pastor Kezhakietuo Belho blessed the program with invocation and the program was earlier chaired by Rüguongulie Sachü.
