ACID and NDWN hold summer camp

Assisi Centre for Integrated Development (ACID) and National Domestic Workers Movement (NDWM) Nagaland region organized summer camp for children involved in Child Rights Movement (CRM). The event was held in collaboration with “Art for All” free community workshop initiative, bringing together creative minds and fostering spirit of learning and camaraderie among the young participants.


A press release by ACID stated that Director and Coordinator, NDWM, Sr. Pramila, addressed the children, emphasizing importance of acquiring diverse skills and experiences and also highlighted how such initiatives not only foster creativity but also build confidence and sense of achievement among children.


She further enlightened children on critical topic of gender equality, discussing importance of equal opportunities and respect for all, regardless of gender. Meanwhile, Coordinator for CRM, Sr. Jobina, also motivated children by discussing significance of skills in their personal development and future opportunities and further encouraged them to understand and appreciate importance of continuous learning and growth.


The release added that the summer camp, with its focus on creativity, skill development, and gender equality, provided platform for the children to express themselves, learn new things, and build lasting friendships.
