Nagaland Athletics Association (NAA) conducted the Nagaland Junior Athletics Championships 2024 from August 2 to 3 at Indira Gandhi stadium, Kohima. According to NAA media cell, the competition was organized with an aim to provide platform and identify young talents in the state. A total of 140 athletes registered for the competition. The competition was organized for boys and girls from the following age categories – U-12, U-14 & U-16.
Meanwhile, the association informed that it will be conducting intensive coaching camp for athletes with promising performance during the junior championships. The coaching camp will focus on preparing and training young talents for future national competitions.
