Minister of Housing and Mechanical Engineering, P. Beshangmongba Chang inaugurated the Government Higher Secondary School Hakushang, Tuensang on August 13. According to DIPR report, the minister in his speech, thanked the state government led by chief minister, Neiphiu Rio for his timely intervention and unwavering concern for the education advancement of the youth and steadfast support.
He also thanked the advisor of School Education, Kekhrielhoulie Yhome for his contribution and dedication for the entire process and for emphasizing a quality education in the State.
Beshangmongba also thanked the Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS) for their initiative in upgradation of this School.
He was hopeful that the accomplishment would improve the quality of education. The minister further exhorted the faculty and students of GHSS, Hakushang to give continuous and timeless effort to make the school excel.
Earlier, short speeches were delivered by Deputy Commissioner Tuensang, Lithrongla Tongpi Rutsa; president Chang Wedoshi Setshang (CWS), Pongso; chairman SMDC and president Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS), N.Y Choba.
Highlights of the function were invocation by Lianghoi PGT; welcome address by Nmyamo Jami, DEO Tuensang; special presentation by Class 11 students and vote of thanks by Imkongsenla Sangram, Principal GHSS Hakushang.
The programme was chaired by Mhathung Ngullie, EAC (P) Tuensang.
