Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed all candidates who have cleared the NEET exam for various courses that physical verification of documents would be conducted at NSF office, Kohima on August 22-23 by the education committee.
NSF president Medovi Rhi and secretary education Temjentoshi has asked candidates to appear in person, accompanied by parents or guardians and to bring recent passport-sized photo, NEET documents, HLSC & HSSLC admit cards, ST certificate, and Indigenous Certificate. NSF reminded that those who are Nagas by blood of Nagaland state were eligible for the seats allotted under Nagaland state quota.
Citing out instances of non-indigenous candidates applying under the state quota, NSF affirmed that such practice would not be tolerated. It said that candidates failing to complete the verification process within the specified dates would be “deemed ineligible”, and appropriate actions would be taken against defaulters.
