The Naga National Council (Parent Body) led by president S.S. Pongokhu and general secretary Francis Kikon have unanimously decided to change the nomenclature of the group to GPRN/NNC (Apex Body).
In a press note, Francis Kikon said that the decision was made during the consultative meeting held on September 26 in Dimapur, where councils of kilonsers, tatars, army wings, and secretaries were present. He said that this decision was made to prevent confusion caused by individuals allegedly tarnishing the reputation of national workers.
