Ao Senden has submitted a complaint letter addressed to the DG police against the “so called Naga Postmaster, Admins and Moderators” over the defamatory, insulting, outrageous and despicable Facebook post by “The Patriotic Nagas group.”
The letter was submitted by a delegation of Ao Senden led by its president Marsanen Imsong when they met the DGP Nagaland Rupin Sharma Tuesday in his office chamber at Kohima along with his subordinate officers.
According to a press note issued by Ao Senden president Marsanen Imsong and general secretary Imtipokyim, the DGP assured Ao Senden delegation that positive action would be taken against the perpetrators at the earliest.
In view of the assurance, the Senden reaffirmed its confidence on the DGP and his dynamic leadership over the Police Department and further requested all Aos “to allow the law to take its own course of action.” The Senden also requested Aos to stay calm for the time being but be alert to “deal with any exigency that may arise.”
