Dimapur police recovered a body of an unidentified non-Naga male, aged aournd 20-25, on November 21.
In a press release, Commissioner of Police, Dimapur informed that, the man was found unconscious under the flyover bridge near the Dimapur Railway Station and was immediately shifted to the District Hospital, Dimapur but passed away while undergoing treatment.
Preliminary investigations suggest that the cause of death was likely due to starvation and dehydration. After completing the necessary legal formalities, the body was shifted to the District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
The deceased was wearing grey jeans, a grey T-shirt, and a brown long-sleeve shirt. Relatives, friends, or acquaintances of the deceased have been requested to contact OC East Police Station, Dimapur, at 7085055020 for further information.
