Retropecting the faithfulness of God for the past 75 years, the Sohomi Baptist Church (SBC) Women Department observed its 75 anniversary on December 15 at Sohomi Baptist Church under the theme, “Be the Light” with Chakhesang Baptist Church Council (CBCC) Women Secretary, Neingupeü K. Rhakho as the theme speaker.
According to the official sources of the church, during its 75 years journey since 1949, the faithfulness of God was viewed in abundance with uncountable blessings upon its people specially the womenfolk in different walks of lives. In this regard, the people of Sohomi owed gratitude to God with all humbleness and humility
The anniversary souvenir was released by local pastor Dirakhu Nuwiry, Tizu Area Baptist Church Council (TABCC) women chairperson, Hichülo Nuwiry delivered greetings and anniversary Convenor Shetsulu Tsory led the function.
The day further marked with grand anniversary feast and culminated the day with strong sense of gratitude and unity and reflected 75 years of God’s faithfulness by assuring to step into the future with the mission of service, peace and love for the glorification of God’s kingdom.
