Team Strike-Fit Academy, representing Nagaland bagged nine medals including four golds in the recently concluded Invitational National Muaythai Championship 2024 held in Agartala, Tripura from December 18 to 21.
Altogether, nine participants led by team coach Hemavi Ayemi and team manager Moakumzük Longchar represented Nagaland.
Gold medallists were Aputo Zhimomi – 45 kg (16-17 age); Geeta Narjinary – 48 kg (Female under -23); Jitul Rohan Mech – 60 kg (16-17 age); and Prakash Sherestha – 81 kg (Elite).
Silver medallists were Hinato Shohe – 48 kg ((16-17 age); Tovibo Sumi – 57 kg (Under-23); and Anazi Anar – 60 kg (Under-23). While the bronze medallists were Hisato Ayemi – 51 kg (Under-23) and Ayeto Ayemi – 54 kg (16-17 age).
