Assam Rifles organized a vibrant Sports and Fun Festival at Yatrang School in Ahthibung, under Peren district on December 30, under the theme “Healthy Mind Resides in a Healthy Body.”
The event was a huge success, with 110 participants, including 75 men and 62 women, energizing the local youth and fostering a spirit of unity.
The festival featured the distribution of essential sports equipment, including footballs, volleyballs, and nets, aimed at nurturing local talent. Refreshments were also provided, adding to the festive atmosphere.
The event not only brought joy to the people of Ahthibung but also strengthened the bond between Assam Rifles and the local community, showcasing the forces’ dedication to fostering goodwill, harmony, and a healthy future in the region.
