Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy CM Y. Patton have extended greetings to the Angami community on the occasion of Sekrenyi festival.
CM: Rio described Sekrenyi as a festival of sanctification and purification, marking the rite of passage for young boys into adulthood. He expressed hope that the celebrations would strengthen bonds and bring blessings of growth and prosperity.
DyCM: Patton highlighted the festival’s significance in purifying both the mind and body. Emphasizing the importance of preserving cultural traditions, he urged people to celebrate in harmony and unity.
