The three-day annual games and sports week of GHS Thuvopisu commenced on March 11 at the Thüvopisümi local ground. The vent will conclude in March 13.
The inaugural programme was graced by assistant headmaster, Chegeseng Kath, as the speaker. The AHM through his brief and valuable speech enriched the students on the importance of games and sports in a students’ life.
The students have been divided into three groups and will be competing in 15 different track and field events. The games and sports week is organized with the intention to keep the students physically fit, developed team spirit, enhance cognitive functions etc.
The programme was chaired by assistant teacher Sheta, the student contingents participated in march pass with Suhkhrive of class 10 as the parade commander, the oath taking was administered by GT, Vethito Nyekha.
