Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organisation (ENPO) on Wednesday informed that it has resolved not to entertain any invitation of any Naga political groups (NPGs).
In a statement, ENPO through its media cell informed that it had a thorough deliberation along with all the eight tribal councils at Tuensang HQ on April 16, 2025 and decided to reiterate its stance on upholding the principle of “unity first, solution second” on “Indo-Naga political issues”.
ENPO noted that “multiplication of various factions” within the NPGs was “found to be contradictory to our principal stand.” Therefore, ENPO said it had “unanimously resolved” to stay away from attending any invitation to any programme/functions of all the NPGs.
ENPO said its resolution had been initiated in order to discourage mushrooming of multiple factions that was disintegrating the Naga family in the name of Naga cause.
