Gov, Dy. CM extend Moatsü greetings

Nagaland governor La Ganesan and deputy chief minister Y Patton have extended greetings to the members of the Ao community on the occasion of Moatsü festival.

In his message, Ganesan said Moatsü, which marks a time of joy and rest after the hard work of sowing seeds and preparing the land, is a celebration of friendship, unity and community bonding through gift exchanges, feasting and shared traditions.

“Let this festival inspire us to strengthen our cultural roots and pass on our rich heritage to future generations,” governor said. He also wished good health, lasting peace, and joyful celebrations to all on this special occasion.

In a message, Patton said Moatsu festival, celebrated after sowing was done, holds huge significance for the Ao community. On behalf of the state BJP legislators, Patton wished the Ao community a very happy Moatsu and a prosperous year ahead.
