The Department of Power, Government of Nagaland, has announced that a newly constructed 33 KV High Tension (HT) line will be energized on May 5, from 9 AM onwards.
In a press release, executive engineer, Electrical Division Wokha, Er. Chenosing Kemp informed that the line stretches approximately 6 kilometers, connecting the 2.5 MVA 33/11 KV Substation in Bhandari Town to the 1.6 MVA (33/11 KV) Substation in Merapani.
In light of this, the Office of the Executive Engineer, Electrical Division Wokha, has urged residents in Bhandari and Merapani areas to exercise caution and adhere to safety measures while near the energized line.
