Phek District Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PDCCI) has expressed strong resentment over what it termed as the state government’s “step-motherly treatment”, ignoring the stakeholders concerning the demand for nominee representation in Urban Local Bodies (ULBs).
PDCCI president Razoukhruyi Dozo, cautioned that if the government failed to meet its demand within the stipulated 14-day period, extended following a meeting with the commissioner & secretary Urban Development & Municipal Affairs on April 23, it would resort to an indefinite business shutter down across Phek district.
