Naga Hospital Authority, Kohima (NHAK), has reported multiple theft incidents involving hospital property, especially copper wires used in the CT Scan machine’s grounding system.
In a press statement, managing director NHAK, Dr. M. Margaret Yhome informed that thefts have happened twice recently, causing major delays in launching the CT scan service. Dr. M. Margaret said such acts disrupt essential healthcare services and affect patient care.
In this connection, an FIR has been filed at South Police Station, Kohima, on April 19, 2025. Therefore, Dr. M. Margaret has appealed to the public for help in identifying those responsible and preventing further incidents. She urged everyone to cooperate in protecting important medical infrastructure.
