Phek District Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PDCCI), in collaboration with the Pfutsero Town Business Association (PTBA), hosted the Executives Summit 2025 at JBC, Pfutsero Town. The event focused on strengthening local businesses and driving economic growth under the theme “Empowering Business, Driving Economic Growth.”
Business leaders, entrepreneurs, and town union representatives gathered to discuss key challenges and strategies for building a sustainable economy. The summit was chaired by Truvi Rhi, general secretary of PTBA and joint secretary of PDCCI, and began with an opening prayer led by Medotso Dikha, vice president of PTBA.
In his opening remarks, Vekusu Chuzho, president of PTBA and vice president of PDCCI, welcomed attendees and stressed the importance of unity in shaping the district’s economic future.
The keynote address was delivered by Razoukhruyi Dozo, president of PDCCI, who called for stronger support for local enterprises, better infrastructure, and the removal of business barriers.
During an interactive session, leaders from town business unions discussed concerns including multiple taxation, licensing fees, tender systems on essential goods, and the need for better government accountability. The summit also addressed legal protections for businesses and policy advocacy efforts at the CNCCI and Government of Nagaland levels.
Closing the event, Pio Veswu, general secretary of PDCCI, emphasized the need for continued collaboration and advocacy to achieve shared economic goals. The summit concluded with a benediction and corporate prayer led by Rhutsuyi Rhakho, president of the Chozuba Town Business Union.
