Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department in collaboration with the district administration and the home guards and civil defence conducted a school awareness programme on August 30 at G. Rio School, Kohima.
Topics like basic concept of disaster management, risk vulnerability of Nagaland state were highlighted through power point presentation.
The home guards demonstrated basic first aid and also fire safety tips to the students. The programme was attended by deputy secretary (Home) Vyasaan IAS and Wennyie Konyak, SDO (Civil) Sadar.
