FGN Lotha region has convened an emergency meeting on September 25 to deliberate on various issues relating to Lotha region FGN setup. All FGN cadres and civil wings members have been requested to attend the meeting positively. For the venue of the meeting one may contact 9612995980 and 8014651657.
Meanwhile, the region in a press release issued jointly by Mhao N. Humtsoe, central representative, FGN, Lotha region, Arhomo Lotha, regional secretary, FGN, Lotha region and Mhao Y. Kikon, FGN Lotha region, has clarified the news item which appeared in a local daily on September 18 under the heading “NNC/FGN (NA) Lotha region informs public.”
The three signatories along with Amos Kikon, guard commander, clarified they were given six months in-charge for Lotha region by FGN till further notice but unfortunately S. Mark Lotha failed to understand the fact and went to the media before ascertaining the fact.
The signatories stated they were assigned to perform “national duties” by the FGN central authorities in the Lotha region and asked the public not to be misled by such “cheap” and “false” propaganda.
They also stated that S. Mark Lotha was never assigned by central administration, FGN, to collect tax in Lotha region and further cautioned S. Mark Lotha to desist from going to media defaming the name of FGN (NA) for his “selfish interest” in future without “prove or evidence”.
