VIII R.I.P won the NSCAS Rock+ Peren audition on Monday. Six bands from Peren district took part in the audition round.
During the concert, Khiukhung member NPDP+ gave a short talk, in which she said, “Stigma and discrimination has been the chief cause for infected people from coming out and being useful in the society, please support the positive people”.
Rock Plus T. shirt was given to the winning band by Zuring Medaliang, EAC Peren.
NSCAS Rock+ now moves to Kohima where an audition is scheduled on October 31 at 12noon at state academy hall, Kohima.
