Mao Students’ Union Bangalore (MSUB) has condemned and expressed its outrage over the rape and murder attempt, inflicting brutal physical assault of Moa women by Adani Chiithyio, a cadre of NSCN (I-M) October 14 last.
In a press release, MSUB president Ariijii Dominic and secretary L. Daili stated that the union was anguished by the barbaric act on one of its sisters.
They said such heinous crime committed should not go unpunished, adding that the union joined the victim family members and the public in protest, strongly condemning the shameful act of Adani Chiithyio.
MSUB appealed the police and the district authorities to leave no stone unturned in punishing the culprit and demanded justice at the earliest.
It has also appealed the public and various organizations to condemn and exert pressure to award severest punishment to the culprit under the law stating that such deterrent against elements, trying to commit such heinous crimes in future.
